The stretch upriver from Graiguenamanagh has also become a popular spot for rowing clubs, particularly since Graiguenamanagh established its own rowing club in 2001. Brian Roberts, proprietor of Waterside, is currently captain of Graiguenamanagh Rowing club and can advise any club interested in visiting the town for weekend training camps. We can assist you with accommodation, meals, coaching assistance, boat storage and a training launch. Waterside has now also become the base for regular visits by international rowers to enjoy tour rowing on the rivers Barrow and Nore.
